TacView’s pole camera now has a thermal imaging option! For years TacView has made a tough, economical, color / IR telescopic pole camera that produces vivid images in daytime and nighttime environments at ground level and heights equivalent to second story windows. Partnership with FLIR makes the TacView pole camera even more versatile. A thermal camera may now be mounted on top of the camera pole, and thermal imaging units with "video-out" jacks can connect to the TacView monitor for hands free viewing. FLIR and TacView camera heads can also be placed hundreds of feet from the monitor for covert viewing.
